• Erik Reith - 7th Son Tattoo (USA)
• Daniel Albrigo – Goldrush Tattoo (USA)
• Sabine Gaffron – Sabine Gaffron Tattoo (Switzerland)
Although these artists all have very different styles and approaches to their art, they are all recognized for creating art outside of tattooing.
The exhibition will feature work that is not directly tattoo related. There are, of course, clear influences that connect to tattoo motifs, as the artists are almost all working tattooists and their point of view certainly reflects that sensibility and aesthetic. However, the goal of the show is to highlight the fact that so many tattooists also work successfully outside the medium of skin. This show will demonstrate that their art stands on it’s own, inside or out of the tattoo arena. Almost all of the art will be for sale, allowing the audience a privileged chance to own some rare and magnificent work by these top, highly sought after artists.
It is most appropriate for the show to be held in London which has become a Mecca for contemporary art and artists, and where the tattoo culture is evermore sophisticated. This is an exhibit not to be missed!
